Forget ACV Shots – Make These Delicious ACV Gummies Instead!
If you’re like me and absolutely can’t be bothered to take an Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) shot on an empty stomach in the morning, my easy homemade Apple Cider Gummies are perfect for you! They come together in under 30 minutes, use whole foods like fresh apples, and taste like apple sauce in gummy form (that’s right, say goodbye to the harsh flavor of ACV!).

The Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar
Growing up, I had always heard about how good Apple Cider Vinegar is for you – but it wasn’t until after I did a little research that I realized just how versatile it is (if you’re interested in learning more about apple cider vinegar gummies benefits before meals- Glucose Goddess has a ton of research and information on it!).
You can buy apple cider gummies at the store, but making them is so easy and so much cheaper and I love knowing exactly what’s going into them so it’s a no brainer to me.

Making These Gummies Vegan
Did you know how easy it is to make these gummies fully vegan? Traditional gummies use gelatin, but in this recipe I opted for Agar Agar which is a thickening agent derived from kelp. I do use honey to sweeten this recipe so these technically are not vegan, but if you wanted to make it completely vegan you can switch out the honey for agave nectar!

How to Make Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies
Homemade Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies are so easy to make – they use just a few ingredients and take less than 20 minutes to form! Here’s how to make ACV Gummies:
Juice Your Apples: Using a juicer, juice about 5 apples – this should yield around 2 cups of fresh apple juice.
Combine Your Ingredients in a Pot: Combine your apple juice, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, honey, and agar agar in a pot and place it over medium heat. Bring your pot to a boil and allow it to remain here for 45 seconds before removing it from the heat.
Transfer Your Mixture: Transfer your mixture to a glass bowl and allow it to cool for 5 minutes. Place your silicone molds on a cookie sheet and using a dropper transfer your liquid into each mold. Once you’re done filling the molds, place them in the fridge to set for about 15 minutes.
*If you don’t have molds, you can just pour the mixture into ice cube trays or a container and then just cut it into squares once set.
Store and Enjoy: Once your gummies are set, pop each one out of the molds and transfer them to a jar to store. Keep these in the fridge for the best flavor and enjoy!
Ingredients:
- Apples (I used Granny Smith – but choose your favorite!)
- Apple Cider Vinegar (I prefer Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar)
- Lemon Juice
- Honey
- Agar Agar
