Oxbow Food Court was originally founded under the name “Dinner at Alli’s” as a creative outlet for me to share videos of my favorite recipes on social media. Since then, it’s grown into an online kitchen where I share my favorite from-scratch recipes – I love making everything from simple ingredients like butter and almond milk, to meals that use better-for-you ingredients.
I grew up in Reno, Nevada, in a wonderful home nestled at the top of a street called Oxbow Court.
The Oxbow house is where my love for cooking and experimenting with recipes started. After my sister and I moved out, our parents downsized and I said my final goodbye to the kitchen I loved growing up learning how to cook in.
When I decided to rebrand my food blog, I wanted to pay homage to my roots and the beautiful childhood that I had on Oxbow Court, so I did just that by naming my online kitchen after the real one that I loved so much. If you catch me talking about the origin of the name in person, I doubt I’ll be able to tell you without smiling – Oxbow Food Court means so much to me and I truly am so happy you’re here.
