Easy Homemade Granola

Did you know that homemade granola is actually really simple to make? It’s a delicious homemade breakfast option that takes less than 30-minutes to make! All you need to do is combine all of your ingredients in a bowl, bake, and allow it to cool. I love to use mine as cereal and enjoy it with fresh fruit and milk, use it as a topper to a yogurt bowl, or even put it in a cute jar and give as a hostess gift throughout the holiday season!

Description

My homemade Maple Pecan Granola is a delicious fall breakfast staple that’s wonderful to enjoy on a chilly morning or give as a festive hostess gift!


Ingredients

Units Scale

2 cups oats

1/2 cup pecans (chopped)

1/3 cup pumpkin seeds

1/4 cup chia seeds

2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/3 cup almond butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and almond butter until combined
  3. Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and fold using a spatula until everything is fully coated
  4. Transfer the granola mixture onto a large parchment paper-lined baking sheet (use the spatula to create an even layer so everything cooks the same)
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the granola starts to turn golden brown and harden
  6. Remove and allow the granola to cool before breaking it up and transferring it to a container
